I found this gorgeous Marisa gown in a small bridal boutique in Jackson, MS. On the hanger, I wasn't over the moon about it but the sales associate reassured me that dresses look different on your body, and she was not kidding! As soon as I put it on, I knew it was my dress. I instantly fell in love with the soft, flowing ivory organza that is asymmetrically adorned with exquisite, delicate Alencon lace applique (3rd picture provides best view of this detail), but I was pleasantly surprised with how the romantic & timeless A-line style complimented my body perfectly. The strapless bodice, which zips up the back for quick, effortless dressing, has a tasteful, very slight sweetheart neckline, and I have seen pictures where other brides have added straps, making it a very versatile dress. I knew that I wanted my dress to be comfortable & easy to wear, and this dress couldn't have been more perfect! Additionally, while I was married in a church, other pictures of this dress that I have located appear to be from beach or outdoor weddings, which makes sense because this dress is so light & breathable. Initially I had hoped to purchase a used gown myself, but unforeseen circumstances prevented it, so I would love the chance to help another bride on a budget get her special dress at a lower price. I hate the idea of sticking a basically brand new dress in the closet to sit for the next half-century when someone else could use it, but I don't have any family to whom I could pass it. I don't believe that the pictures I have provided really do the dress justice, but they were all I had available (laptop issues, etc...) so please feel free to contact me if you want to see more pictures or would like any additional information about the gown. I am also willing to consider offers but serious inquiries only, please.
